Sizing & condition guide
Vintage golf apparel was cut fuller than it is today. As a rule of thumb, a 90s Large fits like a modern XL. Tag sizes are a starting point — measurements are the truth.
How we measure
- Pit to pit — straight across the chest, one inch below the armholes, laid flat.
- Length — from the top of the shoulder where it meets the collar, down to the hem.
- Shoulder — seam to seam across the back.
- Sleeve — from the shoulder seam to the cuff.
The easiest way to check fit: lay a shirt you love flat, measure it the same way, and compare.
Condition grades
- Deadstock — Never worn. Often with original tags.
- Excellent — Barely worn. No visible flaws.
- Very Good — Light wear consistent with age. Any marks noted and photographed.
- Good — Honest wear — fading or small flaws, all noted and photographed.
Every flaw we find is written up in the listing and photographed. If in doubt, ask before you buy.
